ConstruWise accepted as a member of the Digital Twin Consortium™

ATLANTA – June 1st, 2020 – ConstruWise, Inc., an emerging technology provider for the construction industry, today announced it has joined the Digital Twin Consortium™ as a Groundbreaker member.

There is now considerable interest in using Digital Twin concepts to model the “built-environment”.

Construction projects are often composed of repeatable units like apartments, hotel rooms, patient rooms, classrooms, offices, etc.. ConstruWise’s AtHere platform models projects as a collection of spaces (units). The assembly of these units into floors, then into buildings, becomes the aggregated digital twin of the project.

“AtHere complements 2D and 3D geometry-based digital twins, with dynamic information like workers’ location, pending issues and changing instructions” says Miguel Garcia, Co-founder and CEO of ConstruWise. “By keeping this information associated with a specific unit within a project, we enhance collaboration, quality, safety and productivity; and the learnings can be used to improve processes and outcomes on building the next instance of the unit.“

ConstruWise is honored to contribute to such a distinguished organization. By leveraging common models and information exchange standards developed by the Consortium members, ConstruWise will more effectively complement the leading solution suites without having to undertake multiple one-off integrations.

“We’re delighted to have construction industry technology provider ConstruWise as a member of the Digital Twin Consortium,” said Dr. Soley, Executive Director, Digital Twin Consortium. “Their experience in using Digital Twins in construction projects will be a great asset to our other members.”
